i posted a video of one of the songs i played in olathe yesterday for ITG [link] 2.5 hours away from home and it was so worth it

well, cameron won of course lol it was a very close match between him and derek and they decided to play nothing but 10 footers on their last match. i ended up getting 8th place out of 14 people (not too bad considering the lineup) i have a really interesting story. my third match was against brian. i played exotic ethnic with him as my first song and i owned him by like 20 perfects, then he decided to play paranoia survivor....a 10 footer...i told him i couldn't do it but he chose it anyway. i sucked up my pride and i played it as far as i could but i collapsed halfway into the song and i was in so much pain, i was crying hard too. brian passed it and everyone was proud of him and stuff but they probably didn't notice i was on the floor crying but cam rushed over to my side and that just made me get up because i wanted to make him proud. i stood up, grabbed the drink out of brian's hand, looked him in the eye, and we played our last song....and i beat him. that was the best victory i've ever had....even though i didn't win the damn tourney XD

there ya have it, damn i'm getting good

yesterday my buddy kyle, my boyfriend and i went to the alley to play some DDR and we noticed a bright yellow sheet of paper plastered next to the machine. what we read was the most exciting news since we got the machine in the first place lol. there is going to be a DDR tournament this sunday at the alley at 4:00 for experienced players only. i know i'm not going to win because i'm up against legends for christ's sake. i'm not just going to be up against cameron, but also possibly dave, maybe jerry, ryan, derek, and some other local legends. i'm definitely not going to get last place lol i've been getting really awesome scores lately. in fact just yesterday i AA'd exotic ethnic which is one of the hardest 9 footers out there next to orion 78 civilization mix lol.

also, i'm sick this morning..maybe the excitement was too much for one day lol

in my engineering class, we had to build a bridge out of at most 100 popsicle sticks, and 3 hot glue sticks. the top three bridges were paid ten cents for each pound that it held. mine held 121 pounds and here is a video of it doing just that
